Update 2.02.07 Released

This was a major update which included the introduction of the new stock system.   There are three systems to choose from depending on your requirements.   All other areas such as the Product Editor and Order List were also updated with new features to handle the new stock systems.

Here is a brief overview of the new stock systems:

No Stock System

This mode is suitable when you don't need any stock control.  In this mode you can select the Availability Message for each product such as 'available' and 'ready to ship'. On-Shelf stock quantites are not entered.

Simple Stock system

Sometimes you don't need accurate stock quantities, and you just want to control whether a product is in stock or out of stock.  In those cases, this is the mode for you, where products are either "In Stock" or "Out of Stock". On-Shelf stock quantities are not entered.

Advanced Stock System

This mode uses an advanced stock system, which supports allocating, shipping and backorder stock quantities. The stock displayed on your website reflects these real-time values.

The Advanced Stock System is strict where necessary, to ensure the best chance at keeping accurate stock totals, however you still have the power to allocate and de-allocate stock on a per order basis.

In this mode you enter stock quantities for each product, and stock is automatically allocated when customers check out from your online storefront.
